For the trips that matter, yes. You can book a room online. What you won't get is someone who knows which room category faces the wind, which transfer company actually shows up, and who to call when a flight cancels at 2 a.m. That's the part I'm paid for.

Nine to twelve months for Europe in summer, Tahiti, the Maldives and safari. Six months for the Caribbean and Mexico. Holiday weeks anywhere, the earlier the better. I can work faster than that, but you'll have fewer choices.

Most of the time I keep you flying out of Sioux Falls. Minneapolis fares can run lower, but by the time you add the drive, parking and a hotel before an early flight, the savings are gone.
