Paradise Travel is run by me, Beverly Schulte, CTA. Here's how I'm making this site easier to use.
What I'm working toward
I want everyone to be able to read this site and reach me, however you get around the web. I'm working to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at the AA level. It's ongoing work, and I keep checking pages as I add them.
What I've done so far
You can move through every page with a keyboard, and a skip link at the top jumps straight to the main content. Links, buttons, and form fields show a clear outline when they're in focus. I checked text colors against their backgrounds for contrast and darkened the gold text on light pages so it's easier to read. Photos carry written descriptions, and purely decorative ones are hidden from screen readers.
Tools run by other companies
A few pieces of this site come from other companies, like the booking calendar for consults and Google's reCAPTCHA check on my forms. I don't control how those are built. If one of them gets in your way, tell me and I'll set things up another way.
